GREETINGS from the TORNADO TAVERN GALLERY

There has been a long time between postings; we have been reevaluating our business. We find that our best days are when we meet our customers halfway at offsite events. So, for the foreseeable future, we will stop regular hours at the gallery. We will offer classes from us and other artists from time to time and will open the gallery for those days. We will keep our name, Tornado Tavern Gallery, for when we eventually reopen the gallery.
We will continue using this blog and our FaceBook page to keep customers informed and to advertise the events we are participating in and our onsite classes. We will also include artists, programs and events that we are most interested in. Please let us know if you have suggestions for our blog.

We are announcing several winter events that we will be vending at;

March 4th we will be at the Fox Valley / Green Bay Spirit Fair fundraiser at the Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. The event starts at 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is located at 2600 E. Philip Lane in Appleton. This event is a fundraiser for their annual Spirit Fair scheduled for July 22nd at Pierce Park in Appleton.

April 22nd we will be at the Sheboygan Area Spirit Fair at the Windjammer Banquet Hall (in the Lakeshore Lanes). The event starts at 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and is located at 2519 S. Business Dr. in Sheboygan.

Hello from beautiful Door County!

The last four or five weeks have been very busy. The TORNADO TAVERN GALLERY has been on the road across Wisconsin. The gallery has only been open a few weekends and the “Big Red Thing” has had a much needed rest from greeting visitors to Door County.

We have a couple of offsite shows left and plan on having the gallery open for the weekends of 8/19 and 9/2. Then back on the road.
We will be at the Shawano Folk Music Festival this coming weekend, it would be great to have you visit us and enjoy the great music going none stop.

TORNADO TAVERN GALLERY, LLC

Hello from the Tornado Tavern Gallery, we have been, are and shall be open this season.
I have not posted because this is the year of the operation. I’m getting all the rips and tears fixed up, pulled together and shorn up. I have one more to go. I didn’t think that I would be so “out of commission” but there you are.

The gallery has a new “employee” and works as a greeter, its name is “big red thing” (stop it, I know what you’re thinking) and was born a twenty foot red “air-dancer” with yellow hair, through no fault of its own.

Our typical hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, unless we’re doing a show. Speaking of which, the Tornado Tavern Gallery will be at the Catfish River Music Festival at the Stoughton Opera House during the 4th of July holiday.

Good news, the HWY 57/42 bridge is on schedule and should be open July 1st. No more squeezing through Sturgeon Bay, like the old days. Looks like just one round-about, I think. Remember there is a speed limit for a round-about, be safe and be kind.
